Lobes

The lobe piercing is where most piercing journeys begin. But with countless jewlery styles, stacking options, and creative placements (hello, stacked lobes!), this classic piercing is anything but basic.

Lip

Lip piercings are the ultimate bled of bold and beautiful. Whether you choose a classic center placement, a side labret or go for a pair (snake bites, anyone?), lip piercings offer expressive ways to elevate your look.

Daith

Daith snake ingersoll piercing studio aftermath beauty .jpg

Nestled in the innermost fold of the ear, the daith piercing is not only a bold style statement but is also rumoured to help with migraines (although there is not scientific proof to back this theory up) Perfect for those seeking a unique yet subtle edge, this piercing pairs beautifully with clickers, hoops or captive bead rings

Navel

lobe ingersoll piercing studio .jpg

A classic that never goes out of style, the navel (belly button) piercing is a must-have for anyone embracing body jewlery. Show it off with curved barbells or dangle designs-perfect for warm-weather fits or simply adding a touch of sparkle year-round.

Septum

Septum ingersoll piercing studio aurora borealis clicker hinged segment ring titanium.jpg

The septum piercing is a favourite for its versatality-wear it subtle with a dainty hoop or go all out with ornate clickers. It's a bold yet easily concealable piercing that suits both the rebellious and the refined.

Helix

Helix ingersoll piercing studio aftermath beauty ingersoll ontario aftermathbeauty .jpg

The helix piercing graces the upper cartilage of the ear, offering endless styling possibilities. Whether you opt for a single stud or curate a full ear party, the helix is a versatile favourite for those who love to mix minimalism with personality.

Eyebrow

The eyebrow piercing is a surface piercing placed vertically through the eyebrow, typically using a curved barbell. It creates a strong, edgy look while still being easy to style with different jewelry options.

Because it is a technically a surface piercing, anatomy plays an important role. Our piercers will asses the area to ensure proper placement and reduce the risk of migration or rejection

Healing time: Approximately 2-3 months

Eyebrow piercings are a great choice if you're looking to add a bit of attitude and personality to your look.

Labret

The labret piercing sits just below the bottom lip and is usually fitted with a flat-back labret stud for comfort during healing.

This piercing can be worn with a stud or hoop once healed and pairs well with other facial piercings.

Healing time: Approximately 6-8 weeks

Labret piercings are versatile and can create anything from a subtle accent to a bold statement depending on the jewelry style.

Industrial

Industrial Piercing ingersoll ontario aftermath tattoo studios_edited.jpg

The industrial piercing is a bold ear piercing that connects two holes in the upper cartilage with a single straight barbell. It's a striking look that instantly stands out and can be customized with different bar styles once healed.

Because it goes through cartilage, the industrial typically takes longer to heal than a standard lobe piercing and requires consistent aftercare. Our piercers will carefully asses your ear anatomy to make sure an industrial is suitable for you, as not every ear shape supports this piercing safely.

Healing time: Approximately 6-12 months.

Industrial piercings are perfect for anyone looking for a strong, edgy aesthetic while still keeping things clean and classic.

Nostril

The nostril piercing is one of the most classic and versatile piercings. It sits on the side of the nose and can be worn with a stud. Once healed you may switch to a hoop or decorative jewelry depending on your style.

Whether you want something delicate and minimal or bold and eye-catching, nostril piercings are easily customizable. Our piercers will help place it in the most flattering position for your face and future jewelry options.

Healing time: Approximately 3-6 months

It's a timeless piercing that suits almost everyone and works well as a first facial piercing.

Rook

The rook piercing sits in the inner ridge of cartilage above the ear canal, giving it a subtle but unique look. It's usually done with a curved barbell and is a great choice for people who want something a little different without being overly visible.

Because of its protected placement, the rook often heals quite well when proper aftercare is followed. It also pairs beautifully with other ear piercings for a curated ear stack.

Healing time: Approximately 6-9 months

This piercing has a sleek, slightly hidden vibe that makes it a favourite for people building a unique ear set up.

Tongue 18+

Tongue piercing aftermath tattoo studios ingersoll piercing studio ontario .jpeg

The tongue piercing is a classic oral piercing placed through the center of the tongue and typically fitted with a straight barbell.

This piercing is known for its relatively quick healing time compared to many other piercings, though swelling is normal during the first few days. Downsizing jewelry after the initial swelling period is an important step to ensure long-term comfort and oral health.

Healing time: Approximately 4-6 weeks

With proper aftercare and good oral hygiene, tongue piercings heal quickly and comfortably.

Nipple 18+

Nipple piercing aftermath ingersoll on.jpeg

Nipple piercings are a popular body piercing that can be both aesthetic and empowering. They are typically done with a straight barbell and can be customized with different jewelry styles once healed.

Proper placement and anatomy are extremely important for this piercing, which is why our piercers take the the time to carefully assess positioning and discuss jewelry options with you before beginning.

Healing time: Approximately 6-12 months

With the right aftercare, nipple piercings heal beautifully and offer a wide range of jewelry options once fully healed.

Philtrum/Medusa

Medusa PIercing ingersoll ontario aftermath tattoo studios piercing studio.jpeg

The Medusa piercing, also known as the philtrum piercing, sits in the center groove above the upper lip. It's usually done with a flat-back labret stud that sits comfortably inside the mouth.

This piercing creates a very balanced and symmetrical look and works beautifully with a variety of jewelry styles.

Healing time: Approximately 6-8 weeks

The Medusa is a bold but elegant facial piercing that draws attention to the center of the face.

Tragus

Tragus piercing aftermath tattoo studios piercing studio ingersoll ontario.jpeg

The tragus piercing is placed through the small piece of cartilage that sits just in front of the ear canal. It's a subtle but stylish ear piercing that works beautifully with studs, small gems or minimalist jewelry.

Because of its placement, the tragus offers a clean and balanced look that pairs well with other ear piercings like helix, conch and lobes when creating a curated ear stack.

Cartilage piercings require patience while healing, and proper aftercare is essential for the best results. Our piercers will ensure correct placement and jewelry choice to support a smooth healing process.

Healing time: Approximately 6-9 months

The tragus is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a small but eye-catching addition to their ear set up.

Conch

Conch piercing aftermath TATTOO studios ingersoll on_edited.jpg

The conch piercing is placed in the larger inner bowl of the ear cartilage. It's a bold but versatile ear piercing that can be worn with a stud for a clean, minimal look or eventually fitted with a hoop that wraps around the outer ear.

Because the conch sits in the center of the ear, it pairs beautifully with a helix, rook and lobe piercings when creating a curated ear set up.

As with all cartilage piercings, proper aftercare and patience during healing are important to ensure better results.

Healing time: Approximately 6-12 months

The conch piercing is a great option if you want something eye-catching that still feels balanced within your ear.

Monroe

Aftercare Instructions

Congratulations!

Your new piercing was performed by a professional body piercer in a clean safe environment. Using antiseptic techniques and the best body jewelry available. Now its up to you to take care of it and here is our advice.

  • Wash ONCE a day in the shower, let warm water run over the piercing site and gently clean with fragrance free soap.

  • TWICE a day use your sterile Saline Solution. You can spray directly onto the piercing or use a sterile piece of gauze soaked in the saline solution.

  • If your piercing gets irritated or bumped, soak a sterile piece of gauze in saline solution and place over the piercing front and back for 10 minutes and rinse. Consider making this a regular part of your cleaning routine.

  • Make sure the piercing are is DRY. Leaving it damp can cause unnecessary irritation or piercing bumps.

  • The BEST tip of all.. Keep your dirty little hands off your new piercing.

What to expect...

Your new piercing may:

  • Bleed a bit or be swollen for the first few days. A cold compress and or ice will help reduce the swelling and slow bleeding

  • Be tender, itchy or even bruised for a few weeks

  • Secrete a whiteish-yellowish fluid which may dry on the piercing. This is normal and will stop when the piercing is healed.

  • Form plasma crust around the jewelry. Do NOT pick this with your fingers

  • Become infected if not properly cared for. If you suspect your piercing is infected, Please see a physician.

What to avoid...

During your healing process:

  • Avoid touching your piercing, except when you are cleaning it

  • Avoid twisting, turning or moving your jewelry

  • Avoid oral contact or contact with other bodily fluids

  • Avoid using any aftercare we did not suggest. Specifically rubbing alcohol, peroxide or Polysporin. This will dry out and irritate your piercing.

  • Avoid public water such as rivers, lakes, oceans, public pools, and hot tubs as it will likely result in infection; However if you absolutely must go in the water, using a Tagiderm waterproof bandage is an option.

  • Avoid removing your jewelry during the healing process, your piercing could close.
